Shipping Policy

Where we ship

Lum currently ships only to addresses within the United States.

How long it takes

Most orders process within 1 to 2 business days. US delivery typically takes 7 to 10 business days from our partner warehouse. Tracking number sent by email when your order ships.

Shipping cost

Standard rates calculated at checkout based on cart and address.

If something goes wrong

Tracking stuck more than 5 business days, or order arrived damaged: email hello@lum.shop. We replace defective items free.

Refund & Return Policy

30-day returns

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. Item must be in original condition: unused, in original packaging, with all accessories.

How to start a return

Email hello@lum.shop with your order number. We'll send return instructions.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund within 5 to 10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged or wrong item

Non-returnable

Custom or personalized items, gift cards, and final sale items.

Privacy Policy

Lum values your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit our store, place an order, or contact us.

What we collect

Order data: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, payment information (handled by Shopify Payments).
Communication data: messages sent via email or contact form.
Browsing data: pages visited, products viewed, anonymized session data.

How we use it

To process and ship your order.
To respond to questions or support requests.
To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and (if you opt in) marketing emails.
To detect and prevent fraud.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with the third parties strictly necessary to fulfill your order: Shopify, our shipping partners, and our email service. We never sell your data.

You can request a copy or deletion of your data anytime by emailing hello@lum.shop.

The store uses cookies to keep your cart working and measure performance. Some features (like checkout) won't work without them.

By using lum.shop, you agree to the terms below.

1. Who we are

Lum is an online store selling decorative lighting and ambient home goods, operated through Shopify.

2. Orders

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy at the listed price. We accept your offer when we send the order confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if an item is out of stock, mispriced, or there's a payment problem.

3. Pricing

Prices are listed in US Dollars and may change without notice. The price you pay is the price displayed at checkout.

4. Shipping and returns

Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms.

5. Product descriptions

We try to describe and photograph our products accurately, but small variations in color, dimension, or material can occur.

6. Intellectual property

All content on lum.shop is owned by Lum or our suppliers. You can't copy or reuse it commercially without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lum is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the store or our products.
